Understanding MortalityOnce, I had the strength to call her. All I would do was stretch my mouth, utter her name and she would come to me, or call me, to let me know where she was. I would walk into the room, high and proud and perfectly able to walk. I would lay by her side, perhaps rest my head on her smooth thighs and close my eyes, sleeping in her lap for the comfort and warmth she provided.
